ELLE South Africa is looking for a fashion & beauty assistant to help with the production of all fashion & beauty editorial and commercial content initiatives, across multiple platforms and formats to drive positive reader engagement. As the fashion & beauty assistant, you will be contributing to all copy and creation of visuals for the magazine’s fashion & beauty pages.


The person we are looking for should be highly motivated, a creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with readers, an enthusiasm for a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as a keen interest in fashion and beauty. S/he will be expected to write for online and print, source for fashion & beauty shoots, organize the shoots, liaise with crews and make sure that everything in the beauty and fashion department runs smoothly.


Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience covering fashion and beauty for a women’s consumer magazine. Must have extensive knowledge of women’s fashion trends, businesses, and brands. We are looking for someone with a versatile background, who can think out-of-the-box, is comfortable with digital and print. If you are not afraid of challenges, innovations, change and a fast pace, then you might be the person we are looking for.

The position is full-time from our Cape Town office.
